Great fun, but nothing heard on 40 or 20m's. Had a pretty good run on 80 and missed a couple stations but just couldn't pull it out of the QRN! A V?3??? and W0??s sorry:-(
Only contacts made were on 80. Strongest signal here was KB4TOX, a solid 599+. Had fun with my 817 and doublet at 85 feet. BCNU

Started out on 40M as 20M was dead by 0100Z. Had 11 Q's in the first half hour and one more in the next half hour. Judging by the other stations heard in rag chews, the band was not in bad shape. It seems not many were taking part in the contest this month. Listened for another 20 minutes on both 40M and 80M but no activity except W0PQ calling CQ on 40M. Maybe folks were "contested out" this weekend. oo Paul NG7Z

I didn't hear too many piggies oinkin' this sprint. They must be all porked-out from all the contests lately. The bands were in rough shape too here in WNY, with high atmospheric noise levels making for a noisey night. 72 to all.

Not many pigs flying tonight although conditions seemed pretty good. Guess they tired out their wings on the QRP-ARCI contest. Operated just half an hour on 40. Got a big thrill when NL7Z answered my CQ. Heard a couple guys on 80 but they didn't seem to copy me and the noise level was pretty high there (as usual). Here's looking to a big turnout in November. O-O y-all, and very 72/73 Dick W5TA.

The bands are dead tonight. Called CQ on 40M and stayed away from 20M. Only four stations worked: NG7Z, WA - NL7Z, AK - K4QS, VA - WA3ZBJ, FL. All were very weak and had to do several repeats. Heard K8ZFJ call me but could not hear his answer. I am breaking it off at 0230Z. Sorry if you called and I did not hear you. Maybe everyone was too tired after working the ARCI contest all weekend. Will look for the gang again next month. 73's to all. From #1361 in Nebraska. Good Night!

There certainly didn't seem like many squeels out there in the pigpen tonight. 20 was dead and 40 was "hauntingly" quiet after the busy weekend. Maybe everyone is recovering from the QRPARCI contest? Many thanks to K8ZFJ, NG7Z and W0PQ for digging me out of the QRN. First RFTB with newly build c.~1990 K2. oink-oink ... Don

Bands in badddd shape here. Where was everyone? Heard only two stations and worked both on 40. 20 was dead and 80 was not occupied. Hope for better conditions next month.

Yuck, 20 was dead so I moved to 40. I struggled through the 1st QSO with KD5ONS(who apparently is is OR) The copy was so poor, both ways I couldn't determine if he was, or was not a member. After that I heard no other stations on. The band was very noisey, probably from the Catagory 5 Hurricane Patricia churning down off Baja California. We are sure hoping we don't end up getting the tail end of it, after the record breaking storm we had last week. Bert, K6CSL

Besides some QRO ragchews I heard nothing. Later even the QRO stations went quiet both 40 & 80. I admit I only worked 45 minutes but wow, bad condx for QRP from WI. ve3kqn glad to hear you heard me. Would have tried harder if I had heard you or anybody for that matter. On to next month!

Real lousy conditions here tonight. I had QRN levels on both 40m and 80m of an S-7+ No sigs heard on 20, no sigs heard on 40 but a few heard on 80... WA9VEE, WA8THK, KB4QQJ unfortunately I wasn't getting through - maybe next month.
