GREAT pig turnout! worked 5 stations on 3 bands - n4sam, n1lu, w9nx, w5ta, k4bai. 49 pigs and could not find #50! used a k3 & a k2. beam & dipoles. oo fred

N4BP, Bob Patten, 5W     fpqso=45 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=10 spc=41 total=5945
Lingering thunderstorms made things difficult, 80M was impossible. It seemed like mostly east coast prop from SFL. Great to work so many familiar calls.

K4BAI, John, 5W     fpqso=36 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=12 spc=36 total=4320
FT1000MP, 5W output, TH6DXX fixed northwest, zepp, dipole, inverted vee. 20M was good for about 30 minutes. 40M was pretty good with some QRN. High QRN on 80, but worked K3DCB, N4BP, and W5TA. Heard N5KIP and W5AJD, but no QSOs with them on 80. Went back to 40 for last ten minutes and no QSOs. Should have stayed on 80! CU next month. 73/72, John, K4BAI.

W5TA, Dick, 5W     fpqso=32 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=4 spc=31 total=3100
TenTec Orion at 5w to verticals on 20 & 40, and dipole on 80m. Glad to see 20m is finally staying open a little later with the summer sun. 40m still the most productive band, but pretty noisey. Managed 4 Q's on 80 through the summer QRN. Have fun, stay cool and see y'all in August. Very 72 & OO de W5TA, Dick.

k3ese, LL, 5W     fpqso=28 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=3 spc=25 total=2175
It's been a while; was fun! Some big sigs out there. K2 to the EDZ up 45'. Gave up at 2220EDT oo LL/K3ESE

N3XRV, Chris, 5W     fpqso=23 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=5 spc=25 total=1850
First time in RFTB, will definitely do it again. Rig was and Icom 735 @ 5W to an A3S at 40' for 20, 100' dipole @ 30' for the rest. Worked the CQC test just before this and have 27 states towards QRP WAS in just 4 hours :) Now to get the 40M beam in the air

W0PQ, Dave, 5W     fpqso=30 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=5 spc=17 total=1615
Another fun oinkfest. Only 2 western states worked - K7TQ (ID) and NG7Z (WA). Worked 7 stations on both 20M and 40M. Tip of the hat to K8CN (NH) running 1 watt. I'm using a K1 and a G5RV. 73's to all from #1361 in Nebraska.

N1LU, Don, 5W     fpqso=21 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=2 spc=18 total=1170
Fun as usual. Wish I could have stuck it out till the end but past my bedtime.

NG7Z, Paul, 5W     fpqso=23 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=4 spc=16 total=1168
Elecraft K-1, C3 and 40-2CD. Been a couple of months since I've had time to do some oinking but it was high time I did. 20M was open until 0040 and then it closed up or everyone left. Out here on the left coast, the sun is still shining brightly so 40M is barely useable especially QRP. So I took a 20 min break and spent the rest of the time there. No point in even listening to 80M. Thanks for the Q's. 72 Paul NG7Z oo

K8CN, Mike, 5W/1W     fpqso=18 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=1 spc=18 total=990
First time in RFTB for me. Elecraft K2 at 5W for most Qs, dropped to 1W for several. 135 foot sloping doublet, center about 20 feet up. Thanks for the fun!

K8NWD, Tim Pepper, 5     fpqso=18 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=1 spc=18 total=990
First time in an RTFB. I'm in the process of getting up a new tower and new antennas after losing mine to a wind storm. The signal will be much better than it is now with the fence mounted vertical. Great fun and I'll be back again. Ran the K3 at 5 watts to the Butternut vertical.

KA2KGP, Tom Perry, 5     fpqso=19 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=4 spc=16 total=976
Good to work all those oinkin' piggies out there! 40m. was decent & 80 not too bad this Bacon Run. 72 to all u's qr-poinkers!

I hope i slowed down enough.Ur doing great fer a new contester! Heard very litle from the southland, K4BAI, N4BP, excepted. See u all next time. OO, Gregg WB8LZG

K7TQ, Randy Foltz, 5 w     fpqso=12 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=0 spc=10 total=360
Could operate only first half hour. Lots of signals compared to last time I got to Run for the Bacon. Thanks for all who stopped by.

2n2/40 + dipole@30'. I'm a new ham. Just got my 2n2 working a week or so ago. Sorry for slow CW, but I'm working on it. This is my first FP contest, and my second contest ever. Lots of fun. 40M was a bit noisy, but heard a few. Will be back next month to beat my score. Thanks!

k5jhp, Bill, 5 w     fpqso=8 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=0 spc=8 total=192
Lots of noise in S Tx tonite. T-storms in the next county up north made for a high static level with lots of qsb, oh well, wait till next month, hi hi....

N0OR, Jim , 5W     fpqso=7 fpdxqso=0 nonfpqso=1 spc=8 total=176
Yaesu FT950 and GAP Titan. Worked only 20 meters as I'm having problem with 40M vertical. Fun again. Looking forward to next month with all antennas up.
